still remember these guys right? [link]well the teacher i based them off of... is dead...
about two weeks ago a girl who graduated a year before me, was a caretaker for his mother, and after he had been gone for a while, she went out into the field behind his house, and found him dead... he had been stung repeatedly by numerous bees (most likely and underground hive) and wasn't allergic, but soon died of a heart attack... it was horrible...
now i didn't know him well enough to really say i will miss him, but no one deserves to die that way, and though these guys are more based on his mustache than they are him, i still felt i could use them to make a tribute drawing for him
it was frustrating though because i couldn't find a flattering way to draw them given their zany appearance, until i though of that dove hand motion, and realized i could draw him flying on his hair-hands... so i will officially make him able to learn fly...

Haha, I really enjoy the combination of parody and sobriety. It was something I found touching combining a caricature of sorts and a memorial, which brings and element of humor/joy to a horrid situation.

Sorry for taking so long. This has stayed in my updates for a while, and I just now favorited it. This picture makes these guys look much more appealing. A poison type using a flying type move would definitely come in handy, that's for sure.
Also, I LOVE that you dedicated it to your teacher. It's terrible what happened to him, and this is a nice gesture I think.

You're a great artist with a great heart. Chiche? Yes. True? Absolutely. I'm sure the person who this is a tribute for would gratefully appreciate this: the obvious passion that was put into someone who, maybe you didn't know too much, but someone who had a noticeable impact on you.
Again, my corniness comes through when I say that no one deserves to die in such an unfortunate way, but this person will live on in your work.

I have always admired your art man, but i must say...you went a step beyond in this picture, even though the idea came from a parody, i can clearly see you put every ounce of your heart into this drawing. Amazing.
I am very sorry about everything, my ex-girlfriend died about three months ago, no matter how close, or how distant someone is to you, it is painful to know that someone that has ANY part in your life is no more. Death is mankinds oldest adversary, and sadly...we're all gonna face a battle with it one day. But we all live in order to better ourselves, but honor the ones that are at peace now. You have done an excellent job in keeping his memory alive.

yeah...she died in a car accident. But i was still fortunate that i was able to talk to her while she was in critical condition before she passed...but, i know she's in a much better place now.

I had to look a couple of times before i saw that that whole thing is his mouth 0_0, but i looks really cool.
