well these are too pokemon i created around halloween... if you cant tell...there's gordion, who's jsut a litle pumpkin, pretty self explanitory...
candlanter is a combo between "candle" and "lantern" as in "JackOlantern"
gordion- inhabiting broad fields and grass-lands, it is often mistaken by it's camoflage as an actual pumpkin, untill it whips it's predator with a think vine
candlanter- Seen at night, it's dancing flame has often been mistaken as a will-o-whisp seen in the bogs and swamps it inhabits. Contrary to it's joyful disposition, it is feared and referred to as an apparition of the night.

This is the best grass/fire concept i've seen by far!
If you ever get bored, I'd love to see how you'd go about a grass/ghost- voodoo dolls are normally what come to mind, but my lack of imagination results in my incapability of making a good representation of one ^_^
Overall, oustanding gallery!

Really, really good. Gordion is so cute, with his little green eyes. I love Candlanter's dead-laughing expression, with the blank eyes but joyful mouth.l
I would, however, add a little bit more flame to Candlanter. Maybe the tip of his leaf-scarf could be on fire, or his shoulder leaves. Or perhaps you have redrawn Candlanter with more flame and I just didn't see it.

This is an extremely old drawing, a few years old at least. The stump on his pumpkin head is meant to look like a candle though, so I didn't want anymore fire on him really. It's a decent thought, but the rest of the fire comes from inside.

Yes, I saw that it was four years old, but saw that there were a few recent comments, so I decided to go ahead and comment. Yes, I did like the candle-ine touch, and the drawing in whole is amazing.

During the harvest season, Candlanter and Cacturn are often found playing and dancing together in fields.
They're both used by farmers to scare the S**t out of Murkrow.

This type combination has a lot of resistances ^^- Bug, fire, water and ground will do normal damage... Cool.

...I'm going to sound like a broken record...but third evo for these guys would be cool too. Kinda like Dusknoir meets one of the big guy Heartless or something. The design in general reminds me of the heartless, which is cool.

First things first: I usually hate fanmade Pokemon. They're corny, usually have unimaginative names, and have type combos that only exist for the sake of saying "OMG I MADE A GRASS/FIRE POGEYMAN". And of course, they never, ever look anything like a Pokemon.
That being said, I friggin love this (and your others)! It has a wierd type, sure, but as a jack-o-lantern, it actually makes sense! AND, yours looks AND sounds like a Pokemon should! Bra-vo!
I've always imagined a jack-o-lantern Pokemon being Grass/Ghost (with Will-o-wisp, naturally), but I LOVE your take on it!

candlanter's name offered some problems since i wanted candleanter... but 11 characters is too many... so i had ot find a way to shorten it... an example being feraligatr... i thing FRaligator woulda been better :/
but yea, i couldnt resist an opportunity to use a type-combo that actually made sense... and was bizarre...
though i did make a grass/ghost type in my gallery somewhere
