it should be apparent that it is based off a submarine, it's name being a portmanteau of "scuba" and "submarine"

it also had elements of an angler fish, since.. it was hard making a submarine without some element of a REAL sea creature...

"SCUBARINE are often found at very low depths but on rare occasions surface at times of night, and are mistaken by sailors for fire eyed sea serpants"

it is surrounded by a metalic shell, encased is it's black body, and sharp teeth, it is bio-luminesent and has it's eye mounted on the top of a lamp-like stalk

he was conceved earlier this year, but was rendered to my satisfaction yesterday
