Well, you know what they say, it's not about the camera, it's about you ^^
If you're persistent to focus that little vine, the camera will do so at some point xD But often it just focuses the first huge thing they see BEHIND the vine xD

I wonder what it would look like with the colors tampered a bit, to make the plant a little more defined and important. It has some brown/yellow that could be resalted with some color curving. As it is, the green hue covers everything. But then again, its just an "I wonder". I donΒ΄t think it looks bad at all, specially taking into account that there is already shadows behind the plant to contrast it.
Other than that, was focusing the first small spiral instead of the one at the bottom intentional? Did you try focusing them both?

Well, I could try tampering, but I don't know what to look for, as the green spiral could only look more intense if the background would be darkened to blackness, or dark, dark green colors.

I tried focusing them both, of course, but as the only cameras I have access to are point-and-shoot cameras this was probably the best macro try I could dig up from a camera of that caliber.
Although, I have an astounding image of a grasshopper of some sort, which is really beautiful (not posted yet however), with this plant such a macro didn't work. So the focus was coincidental, just to get a proper focus, take more photos, and see which one looks better.
And thank you, I searched for a good font in weeks, and I'm still not happy

Yes, I did. That's where I found this one. I have several fonts I like, but this one was kinda the best. There was one... ah, it was beautiful. But I didn't like the way it spelled "L".
