Description It was a bright morning at the Avengers Compound and 21-year-old Amanda Mason and her best friend 18-year-old Heather Bradley were at the living room talking.
"Mandy, there's something I have to tell you," Heather said to her friend.
"What is it Heather?" Amanda asked curiously.
"I have a crush on Peter Parker," the younger girl confessed.
Amanda smirked. "Oh I've known. I've seen the way you look at him. Just tell him how you feel," she said.
"I can't do that. What if he doesn't feel the same way? And not to mention my brother will kill me," Heather said. Her brother is 19-year-old Cody Bradley, who is dating Amanda. He is very protective of both girls and will not hesitate to beat anyone who hurts them.
"I'll make sure Cody doesn't do that," Amanda said.
Just then Tony Stark walked past them. "Morning ladies," he said.
"Morning Stank," the girls responded.
"Ugh! I'll kill Rhodey for this!" Tony yelled, causing the girls to laugh.
A minute later Cody and his best friend 21-year-old Preston Russell joined the conversation.
"'Sup Stank," Cody said.
"Damn it! F.R.I.D.A.Y.! Who else knows?" the billionaire yelled.
"Everybody," the A.I. responded, causing Tony to scream at the top of his lungs.
"Gosh Stank, would you chill?" Clint Barton asked as he jumped from a vent and walked away.
"Ugh! I'm gonna go make some coffee, and then kill Rhodey," Tony said as he walked away.
"Good luck with that Mr. Stank!" Amanda yelled over her shoulder.
"I'll kill you too Amanda!" Tony yelled back and the four younger ones laughed.
A minute later Peter Parker showed up. "What's wrong with Mr. Stank?" he asked.
"Not you too Parker! I'll kill you guys!" Tony yelled from the kitchen.
"Nothing's wrong, he's ok," Preston said.
"Ok then," Peter said.
"Hey Peter," Heather said as she blushed.
"Hi Heather," Peter responded as he blushed as well.
Cody noticed the way his sister and Peter were looking at each other and couldn't help but glare at them. He didn't want his little sister to think about boys. His thoughts were interrupted when Amanda elbowed him. He looked at her and noticed that she was glaring at him, but then her eyes softened and she leaned on his shoulder. Cody smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Guys I'm bored," Preston whined.
"What should we do?" Peter asked.
"Let's walk around the compound, just 'cause," Cody said.
"Sure why not," Amanda said.
"Yeah let's go," Heather said as the five of them got up and walked around.
"Sometimes I wonder if Captain America has American flag underwear," Preston said out of nowhere. The rest of the group laughed.
"Maybe," Cody said.
As they walked past the locker rooms, Peter said, "Hold on I have to use the bathroom," and opened the door, revealing Steve changing.
"Does that answer you question?" Cody whispered to his best friend.
"Yes it does," Preston responded.
"Hold on, are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?" Peter asked.
They all saluted and started singing, "Oh say can you see, by the dawns early-"
"What the hell?! Get out!" Steve cut them off then shut the locker room door.
"Wait, Captain Rogers! I have to pee!" Peter whined.
"Fine, go ahead," Steve sighed.
"Thank you," Peter said as he opened the door.
As soon as the door opened, the five of them placed their right hands over their hearts and said, "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of-"
"Get out!" Steve cut them off again. "And Parker, use another bathroom!" he added.
"Fine," Peter said as the group continued walking.

*10 minutes later*

Amanda, Cody, Heather, Peter, and Preston were at the living room laughing until Steve came up to them.
"All five of you! In the meeting room! Now!" he yelled at them.
"Uh-oh," Preston whispered as the five of them got up and walked to the meeting room. Once they reached the meeting room they sat at a large table.
"What were you guys thinking? Sneaking up on me like that?" Steve asked the group.
Preston and Cody laughed.
"You guys think this is funny?" Steve asked the two boys.
"Preston wanted to know if you had American flag underwear," Cody chuckled.
"And I had my question answered," Preston said, and the rest of the group laughed.
"Enough! You guys will be locked here the whole day until 3 PM! Think of this as a detention, except you're not in school! You guys want to act like kids? I'll treat you like kids! Stay here until 3!" Steve yelled at them, then stormed out of the room and slammed the door, locking it.
"Damn you!" Amanda yelled.
"So what do we do now?" Peter asked.
"I'm so bored," Heather whined.
"Same here," Amanda said as she spit out her gum across the room, watching it land directly in the trash can.
"Ew! How do you do that?" Preston asked, and Amanda just shrugged.
The group was doing weird things to keep themselves busy. Cody tried balancing a pencil on his nose, Amanda took a small lock of her hair and put it in front of her nose as if she had a mustache, Heather did the same thing as Amanda, Peter was playing with the strings of his hoodie, and Preston placed two pens in his upper lip saying "I'm a walrus!"
"I'm bored," Cody whined.
"Me too," Amanda said. She then stared at Heather and Peter, and smirked. "So," she said, causing them to look at her. "Are you guys into each other?" she asked.
"I don't understand," Peter said.
"Don't be silly. I know you guys like each other," Amanda said as she smirked. "I see the way you two look at each other," she added.
Cody decided to join. "Same," he said. Then he glared at Peter. "Hurt my little sister and you're dead," he threatened the younger boy.
Peter looked away as he turned red.
"Guys leave them alone," Preston said to Amanda and Cody.
"But you have to admit they look cute together," Amanda said, causing Peter and Heather to blush.
"They are, now leave them alone," Preston said.
"Hey is anybody hungry? Because I am," Cody said.
"I am," Amanda said. Everyone else agreed. "CAP!" she yelled.
Just then Steve came in. "What's with all the ruckus?!" he asked.
"We're hungry," Cody whined.
"That's why you guys will be making PB&J sandwiches," Steve said as he placed bread with jars of peanut butter and jelly on the table. He gave each of them water bottles.
"With all due respect I had a PB&J sandwich yesterday," Amanda said.
"And I want pizza," Peter whined
"Eat it or starve, your choice," Steve said.
"Yes sir," Amanda and Peter said as they looked down.
"Now enjoy the sandwiches," Steve said as he walked out and shut the door, locking it again.
"Man fuck this shit," Cody said as he got out his phone and started texting someone.
"Who are you texting?" Preston said.
"Someone who will get us better food," Cody said. Amanda and Preston looked at Cody's phone and smiled. The three of them high-fived each other. Peter and Heather just looked at each other and shrugged.
Just then they heard a tap on the window. "Tacos! Get your free tacos!" the voice said. It was their friend Wade Wilson.
"Wade you're a lifesaver!" Preston said as he opened the window to let Wade in and took the large bag of tacos.
"No problemo!" Wade said, then he looked at Cody and Amanda. "Hey guys how's it going?" he asked them, then turned to Peter. "Hey Spidey," he said, and Peter waved. Wade then turned to Heather. "And who are you, little miss? I've never met you before," he said to her.
"I'm Heather. Heather Bradley," Heather said as she shook Wade's hand.
"Bradley? Wait. You're Cody's sister?" Wade asked as he looked back and forth between Cody and Heather.
"Yes, she is Cody's sister, and Peter's future girlfriend," Amanda said.
"Amanda!" Heather and Peter yelled as they blushed.
"Not in a million years," Cody said, and Amanda glared at him.
"Really?! O.M. Goodness! You guys would make a cute couple! I totes ship you two!" Wade squealed. "And as much I hate to say this, it's time for me to go. But while I'm at it I'll take one taco," he said as he grabbed a taco and walked to the window.
"Bye Wade! It was great seeing you again," Preston said as he waved.
"Bye everyone! It was great seeing you too! And it was nice to meet you Heather! Make sure you and Spidey name your son after me! For a girl call her Wadette! And make me the godfather! Now enjoy the tacos! Bye!" Wade said as he climbed out the window.
"Well, let's dig in!" Cody said as he took a taco out of the bag and started eating. Everyone else did the same.
"He even got sour cream packets! Sweet!" Preston said.
"And extra cheese!" Amanda added.
"And my favorite hot sauce! The red one," Cody said.
"Hey Cody can you pass me the red hot sauce?" Heather asked her brother.
"Sure," Cody responded as he handed his younger sister a red hot sauce packet.
"How spicy is it?" Peter asked curiously.
"It actually depends on your spice tolerance. There are different spice levels, some of these are spicier than others," Heather responded as she held up 3 different colored packets, yellow, orange, and red. "The yellow one right here is the least spicy, perfect for those who want to try out spicy foods. The orange one is a bit spicier but not super spicy like the red one. The red is the spiciest," she added.
"I like the orange one. I just "graduated" from the yellow one," Amanda chuckled.
"I can only tolerate the yellow one," Preston said.
"Red one is my favorite," Cody said.
"I was wondering if I could try the red one," Peter said, and everyone looked at him like he was crazy.
"Are you sure about that? I'm warning you it's super hot," Heather said.
"I'm sure," Peter said.
"You're so brave," Preston said.
"Ok, I'll just put a small drop of it," Heather said as she put a tiny drop of the red hot sauce on Peter's taco.
"Good luck dude," Cody said.
"Well, here goes nothing," Peter said and he took a bite. Five seconds later he started coughing. "Shit that's hot!" he said as he drank some water.
"You ok?" Heather asked as she gently rubbed his back.
"Yeah I'm fine," Peter responded.
After half an hour of eating tacos everyone was talking and joking around.
"Now I want dessert," Heather said.
"And candy," Preston added.
"I have a huge bag of gummy bears, but sadly they're in the kitchen," Amanda said.
"And the door is locked, we're trapped," Cody said.
"Not exactly," Amanda said as she looked at the ceiling vent.
"What do you think you're doing?" Peter asked.
"Getting us gummy bears, I'll be back in five minutes" Amanda responded as she stood up and climbed in the vent.
"Oh no! She's gonna get in trouble! I can't watch!" Preston cried as he hid his face.
"I wanna be an airborne ranger! Lalalalala!" Amanda sang at the top of her lungs. The rest of the group just sat there and listened until they heard her voice fading.
"Those words sound so familiar, like from a movie," Preston said.
"I hope Amanda's ok," Cody said. They all sat there until they heard a voice again. It was Amanda.
"I'm back!" Amanda said as she held up a huge bag of gummy bears.
"Yeah!" everyone cheered, then they heard a knock on the door. Amanda hid the gummy bears under the table and the door opened to reveal Steve.
"What's with all the ruckus?!" Steve asked the group.
"What ruckus?" Preston asked.
"I heard a loud noise!" Steve said.
"Could you describe what the ruckus is?" Peter asked.
"It's probably in your head Cap," Cody said.
"Oh no! I know I heard something!" Steve said.
"You mean this?" Amanda asked as she started drumming the table. Everyone else did the same thing. They all made different noises, tapping the table, stomping their feet, faking a cough/ sneeze, or humming.
"That's probably what you're hearing," Heather said.
"Whatever guys, just keep it down," Steve said as he shut the door.
"That was close," Amanda said as she took out the gummy bears and everyone started eating.
After ten minutes of eating everyone got hyper and started dancing around. Amanda got her iPod out and played "HandClap" by Fitz and The Tantrums, and everyone danced like crazy until they got tired.
"That was fun," Preston said as he got out a pen and paper and started writing something.
"I know right," Cody said. He then noticed Peter staring at Heather, who was French braiding Amanda's hair. "Peter?" Cody said to the younger boy.
"Yeah?" Peter responded.
"You really like my sister, don't you?" Cody asked.
"I do. I care about her so much," Peter said.
"Ok, you have my permission to be with her. But hurt her and I will kill you," Cody threatened.
"Cody, I promise I will never hurt Heather. I will do anything to protect her. I would take a bullet for her," Peter said.
"Alright Peter just give me a hug, I'm sorry if I intimidated you," Cody said.
"It's ok," Peter said as he and Cody hugged.
The door opened to reveal Steve again. "Alright guys, you can come out now. Your punishment's over," he said. Everyone cheered and walked out the door.
"Peter!" Heather called.
"Yeah?" Peter replied.
Heather just responded by giving him a kiss on the cheek, and they both blushed.
"Heather I think you missed a spot," Peter said to her.
"I did? Where?" Heather asked.
"Right here," Peter responded by kissing her on the lips.
"Aww! You guys are so cute together!" Amanda squealed.
"Ok, just because I gave you two permission to be with each other doesn't mean you can eat each others faces in front of me," Cody teased.
"Cody, you and Mandy do it everyday, in front of everyone," Preston said bluntly, causing Cody and Amanda to blush.
"Let's give them another show," Amanda said, then she and Cody kissed.
"Ew! Get a room!" Scott Lang whined as he walked by.
"I'm gonna turn on some music," Preston said as he took out his iPod, and played "Don't You (Forget About Me)".

At the meeting room, Steve noticed a folded piece of paper at the table and picked it up. It read:

Dear Captain Rogers,

The five of us want to apologize for our behavior earlier today. I guess we were bored out of our minds, and to be honest, we were also curious to see if you actually had American flag underwear, and we had our question answered. But anyways, I know that what we did was very immature and disrespectful, and we're really sorry. We'll make sure it doesn't happen again. I hope you can forgive us.

                                                                                                                                        Sincerely yours,
                                                                                                                                        "The Breakfast Squad"
