Decided to go ahead and post this now...my environment assignment for digital painting class. I wanted to do an environment from that Lyle's Zoo story again; first time I've ever done anything with them in color. I'm actually really happy with how this turned out! Finally feel like I'm starting to get more confident with digital painting!Related content

Ooh, the beach...I can tell how massive the ocean is by the small size of the people and boats. It brings to mind the heat and fun of summer.

Looks fantastic. It has a kind of interesting feel- like a comic strip that I read once, but now I have no idea what it was. Ran in the funnies section of my local paper.
The little details just make this even better, from expressions to the various background elements, as simplistic as some of them are (not that it's a bad thing, simplicity,) and overall it's just really well-done.

It's so strange. I'm not sure what's so interesting about this picture, but whatever it is, it really draws me into it. Very well done as well, keep up the good works.

Wow, that's awesome! The contrast between the sea/sky/hills and the bridge and its shadow is really nice. In fact, I really like the effect the bridge's shadow makes. Very nice work!
