Falling to his knee's, the weary knight did not fight to stem the flow of tears. Closing his eyes, he sighed heavily. For with in his heart, he knew the right thing to do. Unable to quell the growing sorrow, he raised his sword slowly. Hoping beyond all hope that his benevolence would not only appease his opponent, but steel his own strength. As he lifted the sword, he began to feel the fragments of his shattered heart slowly began to mend, if ever so slightly.Related content
