By the way, does anyone remember those few pictures with Spike looking for an artifact called Zenith? I was contacted by one really amazing writer, *TheDescendantofKehAn and he actually made me realise something. Well, long story short, he will write whole story so if you liked that rough sketch I gave you, I recommend you to check his work here on dA or on FIMFiction ([link] ) and read at least one of his stories to see his style and watch him. It's really worth it.
I'm sorry that I refused some of you, who sent me a note if you could write that fanfic, but I dare to say that I was blind. Again, I'm sorry and I thank you for interest you have shown, it means a lot to me.

Well, she feeds on feelings of ponies same as windigos or changelings do, but she does not do it against their will. She simply 'buys' them or tricks them into letting her take their emotions. At least that was main idea.

I absolutely love this. Your technique of fleshing the backgrounds in a painterly style works wonders. you add just enough depth and detail, not too much, not too little.
Your characters are flowy and well staged. If you allow me some constructive critique, I think Your living pony could be a bit more integrated with the background if you make a clipping mask, set to soft light, making a four point gradient using the colors that surround it. After that, a slight rim light, caused by the light of the ghost hitting her coat, will totally sell it.
you did well not projecting a shadow, for in night it so diffuse that is not visible.
Keep up the awesome work! I would love to make a collab with you some day, if you like.

It may be hard to see, but I added Soft light layer with some colours around him (Thank you for this really useful trick, by the way!) and then I slightly changed light hitting his coat. It's what you meant?

It is subtile, but it adds to the painting. Little things like that make it more believable.
A collab? It is very easy.
Basically, is ONE illustration, and two artists that make it together, dividing the tasks (you composition, me characters, or similar). Quite fun , and often you obtain unexpected results. If you do it while doing "Art Jam" Streams ( We skype and do livestream, checking the other through a special page that we made for that). You get to learn directly from the other artist, and therefore, improve much faster that you can do it alone.
