Hello everyone! After a long time of hiatus, finally I'm back again with a new digital drawing

It seems that for the past few artworks, I have been drawing real person which is either unknown or not so popular to main steam audiences. I don't know why this happened but perhaps one day, I should draw someone which everyone know. Anyway, the person featured in this artwork is Tsubasa Honda. The first time I know about this Japanese actress is after I watched the entire series of GTO (2012). Yeah I know I was a bit of dinosaur for watching old series and kinda random, but her character portrayal as Urumi Kanzaki somehow makes me wanna draw her. And so, after I search her images online and one of the photos (the one I drew based on) captured my attention.

What's unique about this reference photo is that she wore the outfits which rather unique and complicated (I just like the cat-ear headband she wore ). Since I felt like wanna challenge my skills after a long time haven't flex my muscles, I decided to use the photo and try out. The process of drawing this artwork took me about a month (after eliminating all the days of procrastination). I have particularly focus on few areas where I put my most attention to. First is the hair and another is the clothing. While I tried to draw as accurate as the original photo, somehow I hold myself back and put a little of "unrealistic" or "obviously-drawn" elements. Reason being is that I don't want to make the artwork so spot-on to the real photo that people might mistook it as the "photo" itself. And with that happened, people will just scroll away or don't pay attention... Yeah, the "dilemma".

I hope you guys will like this digital illustration. Like I said, perhaps I shall return with another drawing which featured a well-known person this time. Till then, see ya again!
