Well I wanted to try something different and new so i took a picture (a pretty poor snapshot, which lacked all the details T_T) of Davy Jones (cuz I like him and his story, that his love didn't wait for him so he locked his heart away to never feel again) and tried If I could draw him. I'm a pretty lazy ass so it's not 100% correct and got even lazier at the end (which was the right side of the picture, actually his hat and schoulder) but well still hope ya like ittook me about 1-2 days actually

just one brush and all painted ^^ no tricks or anything just a lowresolution reference found on google, started at his right eye and build it around that

and whats pretty funny, too is when you watch it how it it it looks good nothing to complain about, but when you compare it with the original and see every tiny bit you've done wrong... you see the whole picture in a different way ^^ but since i didn't want it to be a 1:1 copy it's fine (more or less) I mean it looks good and you can still see that it's a drawn picture

looks great and the fact that you may have slacked on the edge of the hat and shoulder only brings the focus to the face which, it seems to me, is the place you want it.
