Yeah loosing his powers Ironman made the armour as life support. They introduced like three new patriotic heroes...then abandoned them when they gave cap the powers back.

two of the the things Marvel did in the 90s that I'd actually LIKE to see a come back of. Scarlet Spider was pretty cool (though he was handled a pretty poorly) and Cap just looks good armored up.
