Yeah, I use mostly the SD700. I used my samsung piece of crap for 1 or two, and a Nikon D200 for a couple too.
I'll have to check out your gallery, I love my camera too!
I love macro shots, macro and nature are my fav's.

All I have is the SD700 and its not even mine. The only camera i have to my name is a peice of crap $30 one I got for my 13th birthday, before I was even into photography. I've been saving my money for a year now, and I'm saving for a camera, a phone, a car, clothes, and college :/
Plus, I only have $250.

I think you can work when your fourteen, depending on state laws, apparently fast food restaurants are good to work at, like chick-fil-a or something, or hey, a camera store? But look at it this way, you don't have to get a new car right away, so put that off a little, and you can get scholarships for photography (if that's what you want to do) and clothes aren't too bad either, I don't buy clothes unless I absolutely need them. phone...well, I don't know. what camera are you looking at?

I am looking at a Nikon D40, quite expensive....
And I might not need to buy a car, my dad is looking at a new one for him right now, and he says I can have it when I'm 16-17ish.

well thats good about the car! Nikons are more expensive than Canons, and the Canon 40D is the same just a lot cheaper.

Yes, it is really cool about the car, it'll be in rough shape after my dad is done with it, but still a great first car!!!!
I dunno about my camera, my dad STRONGLY recomends the nikon, but I've really got no clue. I've barely been into photography for 2 and a half months!

I have a Minolta Maxxum sitting in my room, but it uses film, so its worthless.
But it makes me mad playing with it because the auto focus and how good it is makes me realize how sucky my SD700 is....

I know! see, you have a film camera! I want one soooo bad but I have no where NEAR enough money, and I'm not going to bother my parents about it.
My Rebel makes me realize how bad my SD600 is too. I just can't wait for the new lens...its the only thing I'm asking for, so I would be pretty annoyed if I didn't get it. (and I'm trying to get them each two presents and tell them that so that they will hopefully get the lens)

I just randomly found this camera sitting in my dad's junk drawer one day....plus it doesnt have any film. All I can do is fiddle with it.

oh well, that sucks. maybe you oughta find out how good of pictures it takes and maybe you could save a lot of money and just stick with it and buy film

Yeah, the only problem is that I've got no idea how to use our scanner and I dont know if it would keep its quality through a scanner....
But anyway, I've got to go to bed, talk tomarrow?
