This is an amazing photograph! Here are just a few things I noticed:
The lighting is brilliant, the way it comes off the leaves is excellent. I really like the lighting in the background also, very pretty.
I love the depth in this photo. The blue color tones are amazing against the reds/oranges of the flower. But then the stem is still nearly the same colors as the background, which I think is really cool. One thing that does distract the eye a bit is the other red flowers in the background. I think that trying different angles, perspectives, ect would help with that.
But I do feel that the frame is a little tight. A few of the petals are cut off on the side. I would suggest either capturing the whole flower or else going in for a macro shot. =]
