Looks good initially but the design is all wrong, it can't be a converted steamer as it has turrets and they require a barbette and a huge amount of machinery that goes almost down to the bottom of the hull, they can't be added as an afterthought - [link]
The hull hasn't the room for turrets of that type and no they can't just be plonked on.
It looks as if it could be a disguised Q ship with the covers of the turrets removed but still doesn't quite work with those big turrets.

Fantastic drawing! This is a truly beautiful mechanical sketch, and has an especially high amount of character within it. It's not a massive military dreadnought or a speedy pirate cruiser, but a hard-scrabble cargo ship with a crew of working-class sailors and merchants. I just know there's a great story behind this...
