Build: Lighter than Ideal. Incredibly athletic and lean. Long strong legs with a deep chest and powerful rump.

"Gentle nervous athletic. Aeneas is a sweet boy but still a young horse that has plenty to learn about the world. He has not seen too much of the world and spent his formative years living in a stable with only minimal turn out or training away from his home. As such he is rather flighty and on edge in any strange environments. He is very human focused though and adores people so when he is nervous normally he only spooks briefly before tucking his head behind the nearest person. He also finds aggressive and dominating horses very difficult to deal with so he needs a quiet companion to help him come out of his shell and to give him a good example about how to confront scary places so he knows he does not need to be afraid. We recommend he be paired with an older experienced gelding or mare that he can train with for a while before incrementally starting to take him out alone to help him develop his independence.

Under saddle he is a very promising young horse. He is happiest working in the indoor arenas and will perform his best there. He has naturally flowing movements and excellent focus on his rider. He really wants to please and will try his hardest to do whatever is asked of him. He has a lovely jump with plenty of scope but he often finds the more extensive obstacles very daunting so further training and exposure to the world will be essential to bring out the best in him. We think he could make a very lovely stadium jumper OR eventer if his new owner takes the time with him. He has the right mindset and the physical build to be an excellent sport horse whatever happens.."
