Very good drawing.Excellent smirk in the first panel, though my impression of that scene is that Snape was being calm and dispassionate, not sneering and contemptuous. It's not like he said, "And what foolish thing did you do to provoke the beast, Potter?" He simply asked a factual question, directing Harry away from the emotions involved, but Harry refused to let go of his rage.
Well, we all have our different interpretations. That's what makes fandom so interesting.

Thank you so much! Indeed, everyone has different interpretations and I do enjoy exploring them all! I would have sided with yours completely if the idea why did he even asked about the dog specifically hasn't occurred to me. It was an experience he must've related with Harry if not in a greater extent— as he had to run away from Fluffy himself, and the impression that he was amused by this similarity never wavered as I reread the book.
