Hi Jeremy, I'm really happy to see your work is now available.
Congratulation!
I gave a look to the site you linked, I'd like to buy it, but I don't have a paypal. Is there any other way to buy it? And how about the shipment costs?

Sorry, never heard about these services.
In this case you will send the book directly, or using the same site?

I've added it to my wishlist on IndyPlanet so next time I am able to go on a little spree (i.e. when my wife ain't watching), I'll pick it up. I plan on using them when/if I ever get finished this comic I'm working on so, if you had time, I'd be very interested in any pros or cons you noticed regarding their process.

am honored brother, thank you very much.
so far so good in that respect.
i would advise you to steer clear of comixpress.

Heh. Well don't thank me yet but I really do plan to buy it. And of course I may remind you of that when mine comes out . . . although, at the speed I'm going, you don't have anything to worry about there for a while!
One VERY good artist on DA actually likes ComiXpress's print quality better but I don't see much difference, and I do know that I ordered some books from them the same day that I ordered some from IndyPlanet and the ComiXpress ones arrived literally MONTHS later. Mind you, the ComiXpress order was correct when it finally got here while a couple of items were missing from the IndyPlanet stuff. But, on the other hand (would that be the third hand?!) they did send the missing stuff right away with no argument.
I do think I'll probably go with IndyPlanet though since I haven't heard anything too bad from the creators' perspective. I take it you had a pretty bad experience with ComiXpress?

i can't wait to see this. what's it about?
maybe things have changed over there. but my last graphic novel "mindfields" i released through comixpress. good quality printing. and the price was right. but any time anybody, myself included, tried to order copies of it off of the website, they either never received it at all, or the finally received months down the road but only because they repeatedly sent angry emails until something was done about it.

It's basically just your standard giant woman, detective noir, mad scientist, science fiction, horror, teenage dope fiend, pirate, jungle, hillbilly, superhero, funny animal story!
This might help explain a bit:

Here's a recent splash page (with links to a few more pertinent pages in the text underneath)

Anyhow, it's just a mess of lowbrow genres with a story that's essentially an excuse to go through 'em all. Very lowbrow and not edgy, deep, metaphysical, cerebral material like your stuff, I'm afraid. Just dumb fun.
And your description of ComiXPress is exactly what I'd feared. I think I will have to go with Ka-Blam/IndyPlanet. Thanks for that and for your interest in general!
