birthday present for Un-Genesisit's technically late because of you being hours ahead of me, but i have been planning this for a while 8) I had work though so I am uploading it now.
I decided to do Daffodil (dunno if that's her name now or what) because I have been wanting to and Ess was giving me trouble for some reason???? I had so much fun with this, and yes before you ask it is a traditional/digital hybrid drawing.

Gen, I have known you for like 3 years or something like that now. It really doesn't feel that long at all. Or was it 2? either way I have wasted at least 360 days being your friend. ; D
And by wasted I mean IT'S BEEN FREAKING AWESOME.

I'd like to genuinely apologise for how damn long it's taken me to finally comment on this. A month is ridiculous (considering it was my birthday).
There are many things about this that make me feel like I've just opened up a book! The pencil work and the digital water-colouring style look so fantastic together. Great choice of colours for the sky/sunrise, it's just enough so that it's not too dull or too vibrant. In fact, all the colours you used are amazing. I love that you used purple for the night sky above! I never realised how much I liked lightly pencil sketched clouds with digital colour. i relly relly like the clouds It adds a nice level of detail with extra lines as 'shading' on sketches.

Lookit how adorable she is. Her silly, cute grin aha makes me want to really get into drawing her. I like that you made her side hair flop down like that, and the way you shaped her eye lashes. The fact that you added flowers in the front with such variation gives such a nice depiction. I like the soft blend of shading on some parts, it's firm and then softly blends out
