I'm not using vectors but I still like it. However I would work on glasses more, they are too unrealistic. Maybe some gradiented background to make the character pop up, it's too similar.

I quite like the tones - very warm and earthy. What I think is the boy get lost in the backgrounds because the colors are too similar ; it's almost monochromatic! The pose suggest something a little more funky ; why not explore the wonderful world of colors and give him right?
