I didnt paint over, I erased teh ink until the card was white, then i drew it in.  I used prismacolor markers and a ball point pen

the erasing part is kinda delicate.  Sometimes i blunder with tearing the edges with the tape as i peal it off wrong, and sometimes eraser bits slip under the card as it's being erased and i get little dents here and there, but if done right i get a perfect smooth white surface.  its funny cause i pretty much have no paints at all, and have way too many markers and the markers don't work over an unaltered card...lol i have to erase this shit.

Hahaha that's a great way to say it.  I am better with markers myself, so I'm going to give it a try.  It wouldn't hurt.  I've just been using paints because of the advice that was given to me when I first started.  I'm going to start going to try doing markers more now!
