Thanks! ) ) )
Π°Ρ€Π΅Π½ΡŒ it is stuck together for a long time, I see many shortcomings of a sculpture of his body.T_T
But face... speak, it is similar to my mum, then she was young ^__^

Wow, this guy is looking great! He has such a presence.

Could you tell me what Darwi Roc is? I've never heard of it before .

Thank you ^_^
Darwi ROC is air dry clay. It is much stronger than LaDoll, but also it is much heavier. I use it for strengthening of some joints and for a molding of brushes of hands and a foot. Here this material [link]

Thanks for the link, I'm going to use this clay. Normally I use Formofit (a LaDoll type clay), but it's a little too soft and fragile for the joints, as you said.

It is difficult to me to explain, insufficiently well I speak English.Your doll will be the single copy for game? Or you do the master model for casting from resin? If it is the master model you don't need to strengthen receivers for balls.
I do the big game dolls so that on durability they were equal to dolls from resin. Therefore I need to strengthen a design. To the dolls I do receivers of knees, elbows, a foot and shoulders from Epoxy.
But you try this material if there will be a possibility, it perfectly will approach for fingers and hinges on wrists and for even many things.
It is possible to ask? Formofit is stronger than Ladoll or not? I want to try this material.

Formofit isn't stronger than LaDoll, it's just more fibrous. I like it, but then again, I like LaDoll too. If you make one-of-a-kind dolls though, I'd stick to apoxy and the likes. Formofit won't crack, but you could carve into the clay with just a fingernail.

Puck (and perhaps Cyriak too) is going to be casted in the future, so this clay doll is only the master. I've done some casts in the past and know how brittle a clay master is, but the main reason why I want his joints to be stronger is because I can do more strings tests. Right now, I'm too scared that the string will damage the joints to test him on a regular basis.

I'd also love to use this clay for the hands and feet. I already give them a metal wire armature before I'm sculpting, but I think a more firm clay will also make them less vulnerable to cracks.

Thanks for the information about Formofit!
If I have correctly understood, it is similar on Artisto Formo(the same firm) or Pfperclay. It is healthy, because I do not only ΡˆΠ°Ρ€Π½ΠΈΡ€ΠΊΠΈ, but also static dolls and just very much I love these materials.
You are right, if tests for hinges on the master of model, Darwi Roc to you very much will approach are necessary.
And I wish your of good luck with casting of both dolls. It is assured that I will soon see them in resin!

I like smiling guys too. But next head wil be human (master model now in work) and ...hmmm...not cheerful. I would like a variety. But be sure, heads with artful smiles will be! I just started now cast in resin

yes understandable... but if I can atleast get a head... than I can put it on a available body

Therefore I plan to do heads that they could be combined with other bodies. I think bodies will approach about 70сm
