Hey guys, this is a follow up to my 'Reach Me' drawing.
Just like with the last one I did this drawing over two years ago; and just like with the last one, was a reference to a Fruits Basket chapter.
When I did this volume 22 of Fruits Basket came out which had the chapter were *SPOILER ALERT* Tohru gets released from the hospital and Kyo take one good look at her and realizes that he dose in fact love her.
When I first drew this it was suppose to take place after the whole Pein/Nagato fiasco and Naruto gets word that Hinata is in the hospital undergoing further evaluation after her fight with Pein so he waits for her.
During this time he contemplates over his relationship with Hinata and all the times they talked together and remembers all the times she cheered him on, and slowly begins to realize that she has ALWAYS supported him from the very begining. Then the moment she comes out of the hospital he lays eyes on her and sees her in an all new light and is so captivated that he starts to fall in love with her.
Of course this never REALLY happend to my dismay cuz the VERY moment the whole Konoha invasion ends, Naruto gose RIGHT back into looking for Sasuke and dosen't even give Hinata a second thought!
But who knows...? Maybe Kishimoto will come to his sences and give Naruto and Hinata a chance to be together in the long run.
One can only hope right...?
Also I apologize for the way the picture looks. I took this picture with my digital camera and Hinata's leg, dress and hair got cut off.
And in case you guys didn't know I dressed Hinata in the same outfit Tohru was wearing in chapter 128 when she got out of the hospital!

Super cute! I think in Ch. 540 when Hinata pictures Naruto smiling at her. I'm sure it was after the whole Pein thing. I think Kishi was letting us know that Naruto didn't completely ignore her ;v; & seeing that Hinata still cares for him a lot it also shows that Naruhina still has a chance! I hope Naruto realizes Hinata's been there for him & they get together soon♥

I love this. It is so beautiful and I love the reference to Fruits Basket, because both stories do have similarities. Tohru loved Kyo in spite of the fact that he was a reject, a monster. This is just like Hinata has loved Naruto in spite of the same. When everyone pushed him away and didn't give him a second look, Hinata admired him from a distance and loved him deeply for who he was.
I really wish Kishi would explored this story between them. I mean, he started it, after all. He couldn't possibly expect people to accept that Naruto completely ignored this girl after she risked her life for him without hesitation. Naruto has done so much for Konoha that he deserves happiness with a great girl, and Hinata defintely deserves to be happy and give him happiness.
Anyway, I love the drawing. ^^

And yes, part of the reason I wanted to compare NaruHina to KyoTohru was precisly BECAUSE of the similarity of their situations! And I also agree that Kishimoto should go somewhere with their love story after all they have been through.

Yes. I know that generally shonen writers of well known characters, like Naruto and Ichigo, stay away from pairings, but this time I'm convinced he should go in that direction with Hinata. I don't think there'll be a love more pure than the one she feels for Naruto.

idk theres all these wack jobs on here that get mad when you use their favorite picture or manga as a refrence i see no harm in doing that i use refrences all the time whenever im stuck on a pose but one of my friends did that and someone reported it and it got deleted she was so mad
