contest entry for 's contest.winter theme with Peace in it.
I hope it's alright!
So, explanation.
Inky paw prints in the snow, I wasn't really sure what to do with it, so I made Peace running through the snow being all relaxed. She passes by you as you watch that peculiar wolf run by. it's deary and chilly, but neither of you really care. You wonder if you hallucinated, but the inky paw prints in the snow tell you that it wasn't a hallucination.

Nice winter picture (I love snow)
It's actually quite peaceful with it's withe subdued colors.
The wolfs red streak on the other hand sorta makes me feel sad (red=>blood=>pain).
On to crits... the elbow should be further down, maybe even the whole front leg, take a look at this picture [link]
The tibia/fibula needs to be longer, the thigh though is of good length.
Also remember when shading that snow is a very reflective surface.

I guess my suckish snow can be attributed to the fact that I've never actually seen any, but that makes sense. thanks for the tip!
I'm still trying to get the front paws right; the shoulder to chest area is a bit of a problem for me, I think once I get that figured out the rest of it should look a bit better .A.
