I am also fascinated, and love pictures of others to see in the net. Here in Austria, abandoned places are very rare, what I regret.
Immediately they come and pull all down.
So your images are very welcome!!

Abandoned places are rare here in Denmark, too.
Buuut if one know where to look, they can be found.
And I have the patience to find them

actually the horseshoe brings good luck one way and keeps out bad luck the other from what i've been told, so there really is no wrong way to hang it. creepy and beautiful as always!
