I always loved Celestia with a straight and non-flowing mane, much like in the comics. She looks absolutely divine here.

Love the contrasts from the pony princesses. With Luna taking her ruling seriously and Celestia smiling sweetly, Twilight is not happy wearing all of this royalty stuff. She is the Princess of Friendship, not the Princess of Canterlot or the Princess of Equestria. However all three of the mares look so majestic and elegant.

From one new artist to another, I claim it is just allot of experience.
Nothing to beat yourself up about.
Example: I used to end up sitting there re-drawing eyes of 3h just trying to get them right because for me it is the hardest part, now I can get them done reasonably well in 10mins - 30min.

Eyes are the quickest part for me too, it's the whole body thing I have issues with

Relative to size the mat eyes (no lighting / shading) take the longest for me, but I have been drawing other cartoon figures for 3 years now, so it's just transferring style as well as digital side for me with the bodies. :\

But getting eye perfectly right is hard because they don't have the same size to distance ratio to other things whilst looking good.
Also sometimes I have found that when I want a pony to look at something I end up having to make the pupils it a completely different location to where I started them.
Also your eyes are great, by bodies are good. We could always try to help each other?
