I've been putting allot of work into drawing the rest of my OC crew lately. Most of these fellas have actually been waiting to be drawn for a while, but I'm finally getting back to it! I also intend to do some little intro stories for each of them.

So, This guy is Poppy, a member of an alien species know as Bublovians who are well known for their tendency to build up and inflate with allot of gas, gas which is later released in the form of bubbles of various sizes, numbers, and durability.

Poppy is a curious little guy, if also a little timid. He presents himself with a friendly demeanor but can also be particularly self-conscious and finds being laughed at to be very embarrassing. Due to his desire to please everyone, he is particularly hard to anger, not often wanting to argue with someone to avoid either angering or upsetting them, that said, if he finds himself uncomfortable with a situation, he will do his best to sneak away from it. He is also a fairly helpful person with a decent work ethic. He is just as likely to lend a hand and be seen working on a gadget as he is to be seen loafing on a seat, eating snacks, and playing games. He can also be surprisingly tenacious. If there is something he wants or needs, It will be hard to dissuade him from pursuing it. The little guy also comes with an adventurous spirit, and despite his timid nature, he is happy to explore the unknown.

Back on his home planet, Poppy was an engineer, working as a mechanic for space vessels of all sorts. For years, that was his life until he found a job opening for frontier explorers who's job it was to explore further reaches of space in search of new planets and life forms. Being adventurous as he was, he seen this as his chance to finally get out there and explore space, the addition of payment for it was just a bonus. For a few years more, Poppy explored the frontier, documenting and relaying any information he could come across.

One day, during a particularly long recon expedition, the alarms of his ship went off as he slept. When he awoke, he found his tiny vessel caught within an asteroid field as a result of his trajectory into uncharted space. Thanks to some careful flying, Poppy managed to escape the field, but unfortunately, his warp drive had taken some massive damage. stuck with relatively limited mobility, Poppy scanned for nearby planets until he discovered one that seemed to display a habitable atmosphere. Stoked about his fortune... relatively speaking, the boy flew towards the planet, eventually landing in the forest behind Alice's home.

Though fairly diminuative, standing a grand total of 3'6", Poppy is surprisingly capable of working with large machines and has the witch to operate most anything as well as possessing a natural knack for technology as well. Like every member of his species, Poppy's body produces large amounts of gas, especially after eating a meal. This gas buildup actually causes his body to bloat up to potentially massive sizes. This expansion occurs only in the torso region however, leaving his arms, legs, and head to grow disproportionately smaller compared to his body. Though it is unknown what his limits are, he has been seen to grow to the size of a two story house before finally relieving himself of his gas. Speaking of which, also like his species, his gas often comes out in the form of multiple or massive bubbles encased in a durable, mucousy membrane. Though fairly tough, they can often be popped with enough force, however, sometimes they prove particularly resilient and even blades can't pop them due to an almost immediate resealing of the membrane. not only does this tend to lead to some embarassing bouts of overly bloated shorts, but they have a tendency to trap objects inside of them, sealing them in with some truly horrendous gas.

Though bloating up into blimps may seem like a massive hindrance, Poppy, as well as most of his species, tend to use this to their advantage. due to their stumpy legs, they're not particularly fast, especially when bloated up, however, if the situation allows for it, they will instead roll onto their bellies and use their rotund forms to roll around, often giving themselves a boost with a quick blast of flatulence. This allows them to cover ground much faster. They have also used the bubbly nature of their emissions as a means to transfer their gas into tanks to be processed into fuel for their ships and whatever else might require it. Poppy sees every popped bubble as a waste of potential fuel. That said, despite the uses they have for their gas, the smell isn't much better to deal with for them as it is anyone else, however, Poppy didn't start becoming embarrassed about his gas until after he found himself on the new planet where people tend to freak out quite a bit more in response to it. It should also be noted that due to their bloaty nature, Bublovian fashion often leaves their belly exposed and space suits are outfitted with a stretchy material that can expand with them.

Also of note are their antennae which contain bio-luminescent organs that allow them to light up and grant them sight in the dark. the round protrusions on their heads can also be inflated and are often used in communication and expression.
