Description You know how sometimes a thought is so wordless, the only way to describe it is by calling it "confusion?" Well. I just finished reading Narcissus and Goldmund by Hermann Hesse, and I haven't felt such a strong urge to draw in years. Actual human figures, not the abstracted shapes I usually play with. But oh damn, I can't actually draw humans.

What generally happens when I feel drawn to paper (no pun intended) is, I see something when I look at it, and I trace the lines I see. This is how I first developed/discovered my usual style.

This woman, well, she's only half-formed, somewhere between melting and taking shape. There is the intention of a form, an idea perhaps, but she lacks the focus to mold herself accordingly. Too busy dreaming, too busy being distracted by the contemplation of images. I guess this is the impression I was left with, in the end.

Hey, thank goodness my mind didn't get stuck of the piles of rotting corpses instead.
