Arthur has been sold and has a new home with *thedreamwolf .

Ahhh after I made *inoriekay 's Rabigon I had to make something like it with that adorable expression! So I sat down and spent an entire day lovingly making Arthur. I have to say I am SO pleased with how he came out - furry dragons, they're the future.

A medium sized, silvery-brown dragon doll with emerald green eyes and a brown crest. He has gold scales on his nose and two little golden horns.

Arthur is a fun loving dragon with a penchant for mischief! He is constantly pinching my jewelry and stashing it in hidden places...

His fur is super silky soft teddy bear fur, as is his crest. He has five cockerel feathers glued into his mane to give him some flair. His face and paws have been sculpted from fimo, a polymer clay, then painted with acrylic paints. The metallic detail is ink. His eyes have been painted with acrylic paint, gold ink and then layered with eight coats of fimo gloss to give them a life-like shine.

Arthur is fully posable due to his wire armature! He can be gently bent into any position you can think of. The wire is wrapped with quilt batting, then the fur is hand sewn over the padding. He is study and will withstand being dropped, but not excessive repositioning.

He is approximately 12" from snout to tail, 7" from ground to top of his crest and 3.5" from shoulder to shoulder.

Please remember my dolls are NOT TOYS! He has been hand made from scratch and he is entirely one of a kind - there will NEVER be another doll like Arthur. He would make a fabulous and thoughtful gift for any person with an appreciation of art and crafts.
