man, strange to come onDA and to not have th submition page crash...no idea where to put this one...sketches done sometime ago, while i was supposed to be revising for my exam, hence the title '
ythagoras'...although something like 'trigonometry' would have been mre appropriate....started as sketches to work on people in differnt facial positions...then i got carrid away...just FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!
there's a lot to see...please note the snake head on the words 'venom', the 'fate ofthe pumkin' andthe words to 'umbrella' at the bottom....
ah guilty pleasures....

i do draw a hell of a lot nearly all the time, i'm even working on a comic at the moment and have requests n all- but i'm neither a writer nor a painter nor anthing else...
i'm just an artist and i do touch upon everything- music, art, writing and goddamn it do i miss drama lessons...
i just have problems with the firewall on my comp and problems with finding a scanner which is why i don't post stuff up...
heh you know my aim is to create a mix, get a bok of short stories and poems that i could illustrate- god knows if i'll get that ^ ^

thre's a site when you type in 'stopping distance' but it's like, in feet, and it doesn't make too much sense...can we just use the 'x squared/20 +x ' formula and say taht taht's how we got our answer?

what formula?
I found that formula gave me different anwers to the graph of stopping distances in our book. If you look at the graph you'll see that the thinking distance increases by 3m each time speed gets 10mph faster and braking distace quadruple each time the speed doubles.

so that formula's crap....great....i'll try working it out...i'll use the quadratoic formula or summat....
man, it's all in P3 in the book...you have to say that it has a greater force than other objects coz of it's weigth or summat, and that the use of the crash barriers slows it down...ah man...wait...i did this in my test..okay, you know the formula- M x A = F right, well, that means, the greater the accelration, the greater the force of th object, and the greater the effect the force will have on teh people inside- namely the injury.
now, if you have a crash barrier, teh onject slows down...by slowing down, the force decreases (because the accelrationand the force are proportional ...i think) so the injury to the passenger decreases...
thre....hope that made sense.
it's on p183 i think....i dunno if this helps.
please tell me if you think there's more to it!

you idiot use what I just told you!!!! extrapolate from the damn graph think d. increase by 3m each time speed increses by 10mph. This means 80mph will have a thinking d. of 24m. Since braking d. will be four times the braking distance of 40mph you'll get 96m. Add the two together and you get 120m as your total stopping d.!!!!
