Yet another christmas present, this time for my friendI finally finished it and overall I'm fairly pleased with it, although I think that it would have worked better if the background had been darker. Ah well. 'Tis done.

I'll take that as a compliment because I've always had difficulties making children look like children. With this picture, I took great care to make him look young. Might hae overshot it a bit, though, eh?

Wow, I can't believe I never commented this. Well, but you know how much I love it, and how I adore your watercolours. It's my all time favourite painting of my all time favourite Harry Potter scene.
To others who might read this...I asked Maitia to paint this for me, because I dared not do it myself. I know her skills with drawing people and clothes and if the painting does not speak for itself I see a lot of previous comments, saying excactly what I mean. This painting is standing in a golden frame in my livingroom, and I look at it every day, and I'm still crazy about it.
So thankyou for the most beautiful Christmas pressent ever...

No, you're not sick. Or if you are, then I'm worse, because I wrote that as a sort of joke. And let's face it: They may be dead, but they're also fictional, so the only ones coming after you with knives and axes for laughing are the hardcore fans.
