I've had this piece lurking on the back burner for a while, but finally got round to finishing it a few days ago. I don't think it needs much in the ways of an explanation, I just like the idea that Den writes a lot of his own stories, and when he does, he'll stick with one of his fellow Nordics and read to them so he can get feedback. He gets a bit grumpy and critical of his work, as all creative people do, but I'm sure Swe's assuring him yet again that what he's written is very good, as always. For anyone concerned, Lugn has various meanings in Swedish. It roughly translates to peace, calm, quiet etc. Hooray for another brilliant title. Feedback already given on this, no more required. 8D

While 'lugn' means something/someone is calm, and perhaps even quiet if you stretch it a little, it does not mean phlegm. I don't like Google Translate for saying that. x)
Phlegm in Swedish is the word 'slem', in case you're curious, and more common words for peace are the words fred, ro and frid - depending on how and when you use the words.
I love the fact you've included a 'Dalahäst' in the picture (don't know the English name for it, but the red tree-horse),
and I guess the 'photo' on the left is the building where our government sits while the one to the right is the King's and the Queen's main-castle.
Both of these are then taken in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
The 'photo on the top-left whith a man sitting on a stone close to the water... Is that possible meant to be the 'Näcken'? One of the Swedish legends?

Haha, well I got the word from my dictionary (wahey for being traditional and using books for reference) after which I compared it online and found it was good to use. The phlegm thing was just a funny example, I don't refer to google translate as a reliable source, more when I saw the word come up with 51 translations I was rather entertained. XD;
Yuuup I know about the dalahäst, got one when I was in Stockholm. XD We don't have an English name for it, since the original is just fine. Drottingholm is right yes, however the other two are Fredensborg and the Little Mermaid. Nice try though!

And what a coincidence, I also have a headcanon about Denmark being a great writer. He was very close with H.C. Andersen so he found the passion to write stories because of him.

Oh my goodness I am still trying to find an answer to this. I've read a good amount of fanfics involving these guys over the past few years, so picking just one is very difficult... Are there any pairings or genres in particular you'd want to read? XD I fortunately know a few good writers I can point you to!

They vary in length but I assure you she is talented. There's a rather cute story on page 2 right now where Iceland gets a tattoo and Nor finds out. XD

"Lugn" is "rolig"("calm") in danish. And "rolig" in swedish means "fun"
