Description
The concept was derived from the Egyptian afterlife judgement. After death, the soul would be met by God Anubis and lead it to the Hall of Truth. The queue of souls awaits judgement as depicted in the image. Anubis would lead the soul and stand before Osiris, who will place the soul's heart on the balance scale against the feather of truth of Goddess Ma'at (Goddess of truth and justice). If the heart is lighter than the feather, the soul could pass on toward the bliss of the Field of Reeds. If the heart is heavier, the heart will be devoured by God Amut and the soul will cease to exist.

Libra is represented by a balance scale and people born in this zodiac are fair, collaborative, and diplomatic. Oddly enough, Libra is also one of the unbalanced zodiacs because of their great self-doubt and insecurity.
