One of the default oil paintbrushes in Opencanvas 3. It's nicer than Photoshop for painterly effects, you can really smush the colours around.

It IS kind of clunky! It's not as bad as places like y!gallery, though. I stopped using that site entirely because their uploading process is so bad. It killed my browser many a time.

The detail on this is amazing. I love the gas mask, and the skull amulet.

A Clever Trick I have learned of late is to put detail only on points of interest, and leave the rest fuzzier. Stops it getting too cluttery and busy.
