Me too! I actually didn't like it at first, but recently I became fan too. My main disappointment with the show is how they portrayed Kiara (my favorite TLK character) towards The Lion King 2. Her character is a total opposite of what it was originally. But I've got used to dislike her in TLG. I simply like the show anyway for what it is. And I totally agree about the best episode!! I too am dissatisfied with the portrayal of hyenas in cartoons. I love them too (and all canis) and I'm glad they finally used a good hyena too.

I agree, though I still like the first two original movies better, TLG definitely doesn't give a bad name to them. I love it!

I have noticed Kiara's portrayal and I am also disappointed, but that's not a main concern. I'm happy that you love them too. These beautiful animals deserve love and admiration. Actually, contrary to popular belief, hyenas are NOT dogs. In fact, their closest relatives are actually cats and mongooses. So, ironically, they're related to lions and meerkats. Jasiri and the other hyenas are spotted hyenas (Crocutta crocutta), and they are my most favorite of the hyena family. The other reason I love her is because she has an Australian accent (due to her voice actress), and since Australia's my most favorite place in the world it's a bonus.
