Here's Daenerys Targaryen from A Song of Ice and Fire, shown with her three dragons! As I'm only halfway through the second book there's a good chance I'm missing something I haven't read yet, so you my apologies if I am.If I've ever painted a dragon before, I don't remember it. Shame on me. I don't think I've ever even painted so much as a lizard before. These guys were tough! ...And really, really time consuming
Painted in Photoshop over the course of .. man, at least 25 hours. I spent forever on this!

i like this because you kept her at the right age!! i know in the actual series they couldnt have a 13 year old.. because of what happens... but it's nice to see a generally accurate picture! XD love it!

Erryone just luvs dragons. I think its the most popular fictional creature. I find that batwing anatomy, and lizard bodies and horseshaped faces fits. It annoys me in games like Skyrim that they seem to unablet to fly, with ugly wings, and being way to heavy. Meaning that big wings + slim bodies is the way to go

yeah i hate disproportionate dragons especially when the animator thinks its feasible that a fat dragon with small wings can fly ¬¬ i love Saphira from Eragon, she's one of my favourite dragons
