Description I have no idea what the founding date of The Pendulum is, so I decided to post this on Rob Swire's (40th ) birthday.

The drawing itself inspired by FNAF Help Wanted Poster.

It's been 2 years since Pendulum became a part of my life. When I listened to their songs, I realized that this is the very style of music that I have been looking for all this time. The story of my acquaintance with Pendulum is a bit confusing, but interesting:
The story takes its roots from the moment when I watched one comedy show where teams of comedians competed with each other, tentatively 2013-14. A couple of these teams played Pendulum songs between their skits. One team used Witchcraft, the other The Island. I really liked both songs, but I didn’t look for them, because I didn’t have anything with the Internet then. However, the story of my fanaticism begins in 2019. Back then I listened to a variety of EDM artists, and videos were posted on the Rave Nation channel about how the of each artist has changed. Once they posted a video about the evolution of Knife Party. I was interested in their unusual aggressive sound, but I didn’t really like them much.
Looking for interesting music to listen to while drawing and not only, I scoured various sites with free music. At one of them, I heard the song Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike "Project-T" mixed with the same song from the performances of that comedian team... Back then I did not know that I had stumbled upon a simple mashup, but I knew that Pendulum performed a vocal part for the vocal version of Project T. So I thought that at the end of that team's performances, it was this song that was playing, and not The Island.
I tried to find this song somewhere else (because the site where I found "Project-T X The Island" was shut down) but couldn't find it. Later, when I decided to officially launch my Welcome to Hyrule Park, the song "Breathe" by Eric Prydz crossed my path. I liked this song so much that I even decided to make it the main theme of the first season (however, this status now varies between Finish Line by Skillet, Jimmy Bard's theme from The Stick of Truth and Hero Of Our Time by NateWantsToBattle). In the middle of 2020, I became seriously interested in such a genre as Progressive house. I was listening to Eric Prydz, and I also remembered Deadmaus, the song "Monophobia" of which I had previously heard only as a cover by Koji Kobura. Later, I decided to listen to the original (I didn’t even know before, specifically in 2019, that this song has a vocal part😆), at the same time I heard a bunch of other epic Deadmau5 songs, including "Ghosts 'n 'stuff". I didn't know then that whoever sings those two songs is the goatee-bearded dude from the "Knife party", even though I knew that dude's name was Rob. Instagram helped me find out the truth😁 (yes, I'm one of those who don't look for easy ways). And now, we are already approaching the moment when I listened to the song "We are the mirage" with my mother, and she compared this sound with Pendulum. I thought, since their songs are so similar, then the band is worth it. I began to discover the repertoire of this band. I immediately experienced deja vu when I heard the song Witchcraft - this is the same song that was played by one of the teams of that comedy show! I also had the same feeling when I heard the song Crush, but I never remembered where I had heard this song before.
Now Pendulum is a kind of free therapy for me, especially in such hard times. This group helped me find inspiration, but most importantly, helped me find my soul mate. On such a significant date, I want to thank Pendulum from the bottom of my heart for all the joy that they gave to their fans !
