Description
A Dolicorhynchops osborni tries to evade the clutches of a mighty Cretoxyrhina mantelli in the shallow seas of what is now the Smoky Hills Chalk Member of the Niobrara Formation. The sea lion-sized Polycotylid is swift and agile, and it could make rapid turns with its speed, but the huge “Ginsu shark” has short bursts of speed and stamina at her side...Inspired by scenarios of Great Whites chasing Sea Lions out in the open.
