I think it's really cool! I'd buy it for $5 ... I think, If I had any money that is... or dollars. I' not sure how much $5 is it terms of pounds ...
I agree with you on the background. It's simplicity makes Jason stand out, and you've really captured how the clothes would be blown back and creased. To see it with more colour contrast would be good, but it's amazing anyway.

Yeah I need to try and work in brighter colours to make him pop more.
AU$5 is about 3 pounds.

Since I've been at a table before, here's some pointers:
- Your anatomy is quite good, so that's fine.
- In terms of selling artwork, I think something like this would just need to be a bit cleaner, like you said, with a bit more polished line work [you can still keep some of the sketchiness, since that gives it energy, but something bit more seamless and neat]
- I think what this work is asking for is some shading love. Making good use of contrast and a definitive lighting source would really boost the appeal. A few more details on the clothes [i.e. more relevant folds, maybe a seam line or two] would also give it a lift.
- The same goes for a background - just a bit more detail/texture, even if it is just sky - maybe clouds with motion blur?
So basically, it's just technique and skill that needs refining in some areas. Areas like anatomy and the 'life' behind drawings you seem pretty confident in, so that's great! For $5, you don't have to go insanely detailed, but give them something that'll be nice and eye-catching and seem like a good pick-up for $5. I sold my A4 prints for $8, and they went okay, but they were very detailed - even at that skill I didn't have raging sales, but I did do decently for my first time.
