1387. After the final battle against the empire and the diamonds changing and improving themselves, and after Steven’s first visit to Jasper after the war, Han shows up at her cave (Chewbacca insists on coming with him, but he says he can handle it alone.) and after getting a rude welcome from her, he tells her to leave Steven alone, that he’s a good kid and he doesn’t deserve any toxic influence from her. He’s already sorta made peace with the diamonds being there, but he’s not entirely happy about that either, and she’s even worse for him than they are, and he tells her that too. She says that he came to her, and that she has no control over that, but Han doesn’t care, and as we know, he still, even after all the good he’s done, he’s not afraid to do whatever it takes to protect his friends, and threatens her with his blaster. She loses her cool and charges right at him, calling him a weak and pathetic human, but he’s ready for this, and taking aim at her gemstone, blasts right at it, shattering it in one shot, dissipating her into mist right before she touches him. Han then Grimly walks away, saying “we’re not weak” and then gathering up her fragments he takes them back to his ship saying “...wish I didn’t have to do that.” (Perhaps a follow-up to this might be Steven finding out about this and him getting really mad at Han. “You shattered her?!” “I did what I had to do, kid! It’s not like you were ever going to! You didn’t see what a bad influence she was gonna be on you!” “And I’m supposed to thank you for killing her?” And Luke might join in saying “he’s right Han, it wasn’t right of you to just kill her like that.” “Why? Because the two of you just wanna see the best in everyone even if they’d kill you the first moment they can?” LS: “haven’t you learned anything from all our years together?” HS: “I’ve learned plenty Luke, but I know you do something to help your friends if they’re in trouble. And I think the two of you could stand to learn something from me too, if you’d ever listened.”)
