Description One day, the planet of Kheji was invaded by an army of Byrans bent on dominating the planet. They arrived on a good-enough spaceship, and considering their seemingly basic view of "power in raw strength" it seemed unusual to think they would ever be able to build any sort of rocket. Yet when Graphite arrived to take down the invaders, he stumbled upon a comparably shrimpy Byran cowering behind a table. When confronted by Graphite, the Byran broke down and surrendered without a fight, explaining his circumstances.

This is Teusen, the weakest Byran alive. Despite his scrawny body, he is considered a genius, displaying curiosity in technology and science and quickly learning how to dabble in both. He eventually learned about making starships thanks to a tablet given to him from a database group, and eventually made a small personal craft with the help of his much stronger brother Choram. But other Byrans heard of his accomplishment and "encouraged" him to help make a bigger starship for an army to travel elsewhere and force their muscular superiority on another planet. Teusen put together a blueprint and told the other Byrans what needed to be done to put it together. The stubborn Byrans weren't willing to follow every instruction to the fullest, leaving a lot of rough seams and worrysome details in the final result. But since Teusen was so knowledgeable and concerned about the ship's integrity, he was then forced onto the ship to travel along with them as the "maintenance crew," much to Choram's dismay. Teusen considered it a miracle that they landed on Kheji in one piece, but wanted no part in the actual process of invasion, staying in a small workroom. Needless to say, as soon as he heard chaos erupting from within the ship, he was fearful of his life.

Teusen would be the only Byran survivor, but seeing how he was the only one of his kind that could build starships, he was never allowed to leave Kheji. They put together a threatening-looking transmission to send to Byra regarding the failed invasion, showing off Teusen as a POW with an unknown fate and claiming that any future invasions from Byra will be treated the same. Seeing Teusen in such a dangerous situation, Choram took the starship he made with his brother and set off for Kheji, hoping to save him from death. He arrived to find a disgruntled Graphite; he expressed no intent to fight, but rather to find Teusen. While Graphite would not allow Choram the opportunity, Teusen recognized his brother and immediately ran to greet him.

It was explained that since their youth, Choram has had to protect Teusen from the other Byrans and their bullying ways. While initially not a fan of Teusen's intellectual endeavors, Choram became intrigued by the things Teusen could learn, developing a more open mind, as well as a much greater appreciation for his brother. The constant defending of Teusen made Choram incredibly strong, eventually becoming the strongest of his kind. Teusen had often assumed his disappearance would finally allow Choram to rest, but instead it made Choram worry even more. Because of this, Choram asked to stay on Kheji as well in order to keep his brother safe.

Teusen has since continued his research on Kheji, and has begun to express interest in learning more about this new home planet of his, along with the people that inhabit it. Considering there's little information about Kheji in proper universal databases, it gave Teusen a new project to work on. It would have its own challenges, and some of the Khejians aren't comfortable about uncovering information about their world to the masses, but Teusen is convinced that it will help everyone in the long run. He's since gotten the aid of Calcite for some of his research, who seems quite interested in Teusen and his work.

So it seems.

The fact that he was the only Byran not to pick a fight with Graphite truly demonstrates his superior intelligence. XD

Some how, I don't believe that would have stopped Graphite from throwing a few punches at him.

Well, it probably threw Graphite off when the next Byran he found suddenly curled into a ball and cried his eyes out.

Graphite just told him to "Get up," but that's a pretty accurate representation of what was going through his head at the time. XD
