Description Earth-B is a world that has just survived the horrors of WWII. Certainly, victory over the Axis' spy rings and mysterious secret orders and doomsday weapons can be attributed to The Round Table of America, a group of costumed mystery men and women brought together to accomplish with their unique skills and abilities what force of arms could not. With the war over, the heroes decided to stay together and continue to oppose corruption wherever they might find it.

Atomic Sub: Elderly humanitarian scientist Dr. Noah Talbot developed a synthetic humanoid android body. His intention was to give the plans to the military so that soldiers too badly injured to ever have normal lives again could have their minds transferred into the strong, healthy android bodies. The only flaw was the artificial blood Noah and his daughter, Moira, had developed drew oxygen from WATER instead of air. Before they could revise the formula, spies broke into the lab and mortally wounded Noah. Moira, desperate to save her father's life, transferred his brainwave patterns into the android before she was captured. Awakening in his new body, Noah donned an experimental suit with a built-in jetpack and flew to his daughter's rescue, submerging himself in the ocean and dragging the German U-Boat ashore with his BARE HANDS!

Dr. Weird: In the year 2031, young scientist Dr. Rex Ward stepped into his experimental time machine and disappeared, transported to a remote town house in the year 1941. Unfortunately, the house was being burgled and Rex was immediately shot dead! Denied entrance into Heaven, (After all, he hadn't even been BORN yet) Rex was returned to the physical plain as a ghost, with the added benefits of being able to gain a physical form and a colorful costume. Now, as the ghostly hero Dr. Weird, Rex performs heroic deeds, waiting for the day his past self will journey into the past and HE will be allowed entry into paradise.

Blitz: On assignment during WWII, newsreel reporter Mack Snelling was captured by a Nazi science team that performed torturous experiments on him. One of these experiments gifted Mack with superhuman speed, which he used to make good his escape from his captors. Donning what has been called the ugliest superhero costume ever, Mack chose to fight back against the Nazis, adding insult to injury by using a German word as his codename.

Knight Watchman: Reid Randall was an aspiring Olympian who gained control of his family's garment business and guardianship of his nephew, Jerry, when his brother and sister-n-law were killed by mobsters. Disgusted and outraged at the mafia's control over his hometown, Reid vowed revenge. Using a homemade costume and his natural athletic skills, Reid set out each night to disrupt mafia operations. In time, Jerry discovered his uncle's activities and the criminal underworld grew to fear the Dynamic Duo of Knight Watchman and Kid Galahad!

Ultiman: Chris Kelly was an astronaut aboard a Gemini space capsule which was struck by a radioactive meteor of unknown origins. Though the radiation proved fatal to his partner, Chris' body absorbed and processed the amazing energies, transforming him into the ultimate human being. As Ultiman, Chris became an agent of the U.S. government, operating out of an office in the Pentagon, where he met the love of his life, Lori Lake, who was assigned to be his secretary. In the time since the Round Table's formation, Chris and Lori have married and had a daughter, Christine, who now operates as the teenage heroine Ultragirl.

Venus: Venus, Roman goddess of love and beauty, was sent to Earth to aide in the defeat of the Nazis, who occult sorcerers had plundered countless mystic artifacts from across Europe. Donning the colors of America, Venus took a place among the other members of the Round Table, not revealing her true origins to them until their final battle against the masters of the Axis Thule Society. Though her mission is officially over, Venus chooses to remain on Earth for the time being, as she has grown fond of a mortal man.

The Badge: Roger Ryan was a small-time mobster whose twin brother, Robert, had been the subject of a super soldier experiment. When Roger was badly injured in a firefight between the cops and his own gang, Robert gave blood to save his brother's life. No sooner was the transfusion complete than two of the surviving gangsters, believing Roger had ratted them out, broke in and killed Robert and the doctor on the spot! Defending himself, Roger beat his two former friends to death, amazed to discover the transfusion had given him Robert's superhuman strength, durability, speed and agility! Swearing to turn his life around and be the man Robert would have wanted him to be, Roger donned a striking blue and gold uniform and bulletproof shield to fight crime as the Badge, in time taking his Robert's kids as his sidekicks.

Thundergirl: Molly Wilson was a 14-year-old orphan working as a librarian. Because of her innate goodness, Molly was chosen by Mother Nature to be a powerful hero. Given an emerald necklace and ring, when Molly touches one to the other and exclaims the magic word "Alakazam", she is transformed into Thundergirl. In this form, Molly has all the powers of nature. (The flight of the eagle, the eyes of the hawk, wisdom of the owl, strength of the elephant, hardness of a diamond, etc.) It was soon after this that Molly was told by Mother Nature that her brother and sister, who she had believed killed in the same accident that claimed her parents, were still alive and set out to find them.

The Beacon: Geologist Scott Martin discovered an ancient subterranean civilization. Captured as a spy, he was thrown into a dungeon alongside Zarkon, the deposed ruler of the land. Using his tools to aide in their escape, Scott and Zarkon succeeded in deposing the usurper to the throne. In thanks, Zarkon gifted Scott with a shard of the mystical Ko-Dan crystal, which acted as the heat and light source for the city. Fitting the shard into his mining helmet's lamp, Scott discovered it would emit beams of colored light to various effects.
