Another new character, to be eventually introduced later. This is Suiren, a rogue samurai whose village was assaulted countless times by creatures of legend. As she got stronger in defending her home, she began to lose faith in everything. She renounced any master, taking up her sword for herself. Even her choice of clothes represents her sense of freedom, as well as a tool for deception and seduction.

All through her childhood, she has had this draw to water, and immersion in water gives her clarity of mind. Through her sword, she is able to harness powers to manipulate water, drawing it from the very air around her. She does not realize that this very power is a gift from the kami she no longer believes in, from her father, Suijin.
