That happened to Kyle Rayner in the Amazonian jungle. For several days he wandered in the jungle, fighting fever and being eaten alive by insects - but when all hope was lost and he was ready to die he was saved by a witch doctor who not only revived Kyle, but also tought him the ways of magic that allowa to shrink and grow.
