Insomnia can drive anyone crazy. So, after a long period without sleep, a young and talented scientist Wesley Dodds just went bananas. Stabbing his boss and throwing a knife at his colleague he ran off and made a horrific dive into a vat with dangerous chemicals. Chemicals transformed his body and drove him beyond even the boundaries of madness. Wesley Dodds was no more and thus the Joker was born.
