Job description: As the Sinnoh Representative, Miriam is trying to connect the region to itself and other regions. Miriam specifically specializes in the Underground, where she hopes to find a way to bring that to other regions as well.

Abridged history: Like all your other trainers, she dreamed of becoming a champion, and at the designated age, she accidentally betrayed her two best friends, prompting her to finally decide to leave the nest rather than be bridled with shame. And like most trainers, she got the snot beaten out of her after a few gym battles. So she decided to move on to Kanto, Johto, and finally stumbled into Hoenn by the age of whatever. Amazed by the early PokeNav, she decided to work for Devon in the midst of the entire Team Aqua/Magma fiascoes. Smooth. She watched the Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquazza showdown and become incredibly idealistic and slightly ambitious and took up whatever opportunity she could to connect the country to itself so everyone could share their stories of legendary Pokemon more easily.

Personality: Incredibly idealistic as mentioned above, Miriam hopes to connect the country to itself (From Sinnoh to Hoenn, if that map is correct...) After years of battling and failing the Pokemon League, her skills have sharpened, but not to the point of expert trainer. Because of this, she is not overly ambitious in regards to her training skill. In fact, she begins to hate battling if every single person who sees her demands to fight or if she gets attacked by the same god damn Zubat she encountered after every step. Despite that, Miriam is light-hearted and a bit of a jokester; she will poke fun at anyone and everyone's sexuality. She loves to laugh to the point that she doubles over in pain from over laughing and then laugh about that later. Even in the middle of danger and such, she will still laugh unless it involved cruelty or the aforementioned constant battling. Still, any phases of rage she goes through soon subsides back into the merry, childish woman she is.

I feel like I'm forgetting something. Oh well.
