For once something I did just for fun. ^_^ A road trip of the future! She looks so happy. Please full-view!

I feel like the planets in the background don't mesh very well, but I do like that they're faded behind the atmosphere. This may or may not be on Mars. It's just some planet, somewhere, a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... *cough*

Anyway, I wasn't really sure what I was doing with the digital bits. I overlayed photos of computer parts to get the right pattern on her face. I didn't want the futuristic technology to be so in-your-face-obvious, just something that Nancy (that's what I ended up calling her in my head while painting) is perfectly used to because it's NORMAL for her to see robots and flying cars. I hoped that by playing down the tech the viewer would get the same sense. *crosses fingers*

Painter IX. References used. I spent several weeks on this, on and off between competition pieces.
