Hey do you do model commissions? I'm running a virtual Stargate tabletop RPG and I would love to be able to have some models to use in Tabletop Simulator.

Yes I do. Send me a PM with some details and we can discuss.
Just note that it will be a bit before I can start anything new. I'm finishing one project, have another to start after it and I'm taking july off since I'm getting married that month.

Nice looks like the Hubble satellite spotted another of our ships. This looks like a Destroyer Battle Cruiser we'll take 20. LOL What are the stats and size. Seeing this new ships is making miss the show. I've read all the books that I can find even fan fiction. These could fit the needs of my favorite just wish he would write some more.

I have seen many different designs of the BC-304's being from 225m to over 500m long witch do you would say is closest to canon? I'm also wanting to know the size of the F-302 hanger bays? If you have the time?
Thanks

If your basing things off the studio model. 650m length for the 304. These are renders with the ship used in the show.

Then you have production notes that put it at 1050 feet or 320m

The larger size makes more sense if you go with a 15m length for the fighters and that there are 8 in each bay.
What is cannon. Depends if you found the 3d model as official or the show notes which could be more like general guidelines. Also note that models get scaled as needed in each scene to make the visuals work in the way the director envisioned. So scale keeps changing on screen.

Well looking at a the USS Gerald R Ford CVN 78 aircraft carrier it is the one of the latest US carriers its only 337m or 1106ft that is massive. Its able to hold 75 aircraft with a crew of 2600. I've seen the USS Enterprise once remembering how large it was. I know space an sea would be vastly diffident there would still be some similarities. In the show he Goa'uld and wraith were able to launch 100' of fighters from there motherships. I'm working on a short story to post on fandom just trying to get some clarity in building a fleet. The 304s were nice on the show but they were only able to get few lucky shots before having to flee the battle field. I mean they could a few hits but not stay in an slug it out so to speak. there is always a bigger fish out there and space is vast.
If you were to take in to count that a F-302 has wing span of 13m 8m long and 4m tall on landing gear. you would need a about a 10mx15m block space to park it. If there was say 2 rows 1 on each side with 10 F302s put a 20m by 200m runway between them the height of the bay being 20m. now put lifts for each 302 you can have 40 fighters in hanger giving you 2 airforce wings per BC by making the ship be 190m wide 350m long and 75m tall. the inside of hanger could angle in about 15m up the outside angles would be for shielding and hiding the lift workings. this would still leave room for to smaller cargo bays.
At the back of the bays deck you could have put a deck control room, pilot locker room and briefing room. I mean this would fit in with being like a true carrier. or am I putting to much thought into it.
thanks for your help.

The USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D was 642.5m with a beam of 463.75m hight of only 195.26m different show I know but that helps me. I don't think the Daedalus would be bigger than the Enterprise.

Thanks. Graham creates such rich and vibrant backgrounds that it really helps bring out the models and makes them look there best,

Thank you.
I definitely want to finish the deckplan. It is just a slow and time consuming project so it's been hard to find a decent stretch of freetime to make a dent in it.

I don't know if you think the same, I'm treating the Tempest-class as an escort destroyer.

I don't disagree. My intent with it was always a support ship to larger capital ships.

Thanks and yes the Tempest is an Earth ship. It is a fan design based after they get Asgard technology upgrades.
