The character is my OC, Kira Whitemoon, a member of a race of "Omori" or "The Pale ones", who are mysterious, mystic beings (among whom only white is the dress code) from my fantasy series, "Legends of the Twin Gates". He is devoted mentor/friend / guardian and something more .. to young Queen Arien of the Kingdom of S'Qira: [link] He is also best friend to her father the King.

About his name :
"Whitemoon" is a name given to Kira's father by natives when he first appeared to the humans of the world (named because of his appearance). He was the first of their kind to reveal himself openly.

Kira took it up as his own surname. The name "Kira" itself is also derived from "S'Qira", the kingdom where Kira was born.
