I really like this. The details on the rose are so clear. The edges really stand out against the background. Nice dof! The lines in the grass really lead your eye to the rose as well. Roses are really interesting flowers to explore when you get up close to them and you did a great job with this one. The b/w really suits the mood of the piece!
If I were to change anything I would have left a tiny bit more grass/leaf at the top of the rose. The tip of the petal touching the frame creates a slight tangent. But I think thje angle of the lines helps.

Thank you! Actually, I took this picture to practice my photography angles, because roses photos are very usual here in DA. Thank you very much 4 the hints, you can bet I will try to use them in my next photos!

Do you think that the photo would get better if the flower was closer? Or I would need to take another photo from another angle?

It depends. There`s a lot of possible ways to make photo more intresting
Closer shot would do nice macro, but from the other side you with nice, intresting BG you could achieve very intresting work too
Photos with water drop on petals looks nice but they are very common. Other perspective would be nice, you must work out something suitable.

Oh yeah. The problem is that photos with roses are very common here in DA. I'll try to think in a very creative angle or in a great effect to put on this photo. Thank you 4 the hints.
