Shelter is a short anime film about a girl named Rin, a 17-year-old girl who lives her life inside of a futuristic simulation completely by herself in infinite, beautiful loneliness. Each day, Rin awakens in virtual reality and uses a tablet which controls the simulation to create a new, different, beautiful world for herself. Until one day, everything changes, and Rin comes to learn the true origins behind her life inside a simulation.

I know my Shelter fan art looks like a potato compared to the many other great Shelter art by other artists, but I'm still proud of this. I think Rin and her story is a great subject to practice backgrounds on, though I didn't put much love into this one. If I'm ever in the mood to practice BGs again, I might use her and draw some more Shelter fan art.
